Scott Sovereen graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana with a double major in Journalism and Public Relations. To complement these majors, Sovereen took every photography class offerred in the school of Humanities and the School of Art. That allowed him to fully understand the practical as well as artful side of photography. He opened his first successful photography business as a senior in college.
